Our Story

EllieCole Traveling Boutique is committed to helping you have a successful shopping experience while having fun with your friends. We love helping women find flattering, trendy boutique style clothing at affordable prices. We know that most women don’t have time to spend hours finding the perfect outfit, so we make it easy–we bring the boutique to you!

Hosting a Trunk Show is the best way to see all that we have to offer. In addition to the latest styles, our Trunk Show Associates are in the know about the latest trends and will ensure that you find what you’re looking for.

If you don’t live in an area that offers Trunk Shows, there’s no need to worry! We still carry a limited amount of styles that can be ordered online. So, take a look around. Our goal is for you to be 100% satisfied with your shopping experience!

Melissa Elizondo

I’m the co-owner of EllieCole Traveling Boutique. I’m originally from the Dallas area. I went to college at Texas State University and became a 5th grade teacher. I am a mom to 3 beautiful girls, ages 10, 7, and 3. I love all things Disney World and the Dallas Cowboys.

One of the best things about my job is unboxing new inventory. I love unpacking the boxes and thinking about which client will love each new piece. My favorite fashion trend is the different floral prints that are on just about everything. My favorite pieces that we are carrying right now are the tunic style dresses. I love that they can be worn year round–pair one with sandals or wedges in the spring and summer, throw on a cardigan or denim jacket with some leggings underneath along with some booties for the fall and winter.

I am from Brownsville, Texas, which is the southernmost tip of Texas!  My husband and I moved TEN times in the first 6 years of our marriage before we ended up in beautiful Cedar Park, Texas.  We now have been here for 6 years and absolutely love the Central Texas area and all that it has to offer for us and our three girls.

I am a proud member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of ’02.  I taught Kindergarten and 1st grade before I became a stay-at-home mommy to our twin girls and baby girl.  After being in the Austin area for two years I decided to go back to work part-time and have been teaching at a Catholic Preschool the past 4 years.  This past year I became Co-Owner of EllieCole Traveling Boutique and it’s been a fun adventure!

The best part of this job is that it doesn’t feel like work.  I get to provide a one of a kind shopping experience for women.  It doesn’t matter whether you are married, have children, work, stay at home or whatever your situation is.  Life gets busy and we as women tend to not put ourselves first.  I absolutely love the cold shoulder trend! It is a fall, winter, spring and summer style that works.
